***NEW STATE OF TEXAS LICENSING REQUIREMENT***
All swimming pool repair companies that perform any type of electrical work are required to have a Residential Appliance Installation Contractor license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The deadline for this licensing was March 1, 2010. Replacement of timers, heaters, motors, lights, blowers, etc (any electrical work) requires that the repairman, pool cleaner or home warranty contractor be licensed. Unlicensed companies may not be insured, leaving the homeowner at risk. You can check a contractor’s license status at www.license.state.tx.us/LicenseSearch/
Our license number is 248 and we are listed under Electricians, Residential Appliance Installation Contractor. All of our repairmen are licensed Residential Appliance Installers. |
